Tides sweep the shoreline
Shattering anything in their wake.
Try to fight them,
And you will fail.
Follow their course,
And you will succeed.
Waves erode and transform.
Follow the tide to change.
Do not force it.
A stone tossed into the waves is smooth.
A stone chiseled by man is cracked.
Force is brutal.
The Tao is pure.
Fighting the way of nature
Is as futile as fighting the tide.
Let things progress
Without trying to force them.
The Tao is the power that controls the waves.
We follow the tide.
We follow the Tao.

I like that your picture captures the idea of the poem really well. Your poem does a good job capturing the ideas of the Tao
