Change is soft. Change is pliable. Change can be changed.
Because of this, everything changes.
The mightiest boulder cannot hold back flowing water forever.
The tallest mountain cannot help but fall into the lowest hill.
The toughest soil cannot block the tender shoots of new plants.
The hardest exams cannot hold back the children of peasants.
The Master of the Tao is soft not hard; gentle not rigid; yielding not resisting.
He does not question the why or the how.
He allows the water to take its course and mimics it.
Thus he exemplifies the change he wishes to see in the world.
