Anything can pierce water’s smooth surface
but nothing is as strong as it.
It never gives up
carving at massive canyon walls for centuries
deducing them to dust.
Adaptable
versatile,
it covers huge percentages of our globe.
Sustaining billions of lives.
Be like water.
Flexible cooperative
determined persevering
necessary.
I like how you define water as something can is easily pierced, but at the same time is one of the most precious materials in the world. And cool picture too, the type of rocks and the trees in the back connect it into the poem really well.
ReplyDeleteI loved the simplicity you conveyed. It was so moving, I really enojyed reading it. Your word choice was great. Your last lines had a lot of effect, it was my favorite part.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your poem. It was simply, but the word choice and how it was written made it really interesting and deep. The message you conveyed throughout your poem was thoughtful. It was really fun to read, good job.
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you first described what water is and then how you went on the say how we, as humans, need to learn from it. It really connects to the Tao and is written really well.
