Period 2
Action through inaction
Stop
Don’t think
Walk
While others run
Ignore life’s rush,
The people, the pressing crush.
The world rotates
Interconnected
Everything within
Continually affected
It’s inescapable
But beautiful
A gift for all
A gift that demands
Your wherewithal
This gift is not free
It demands your participation
In it’s grand scheme,
Fill your occupation
Bend, don’t break
Feel, don’t ache
Inspire, don’t teach
Show, don’t preach
Reveal the truth irrefutable,
But reveal in a way deemed suitable.
I like the combination of Tao style poetry and rhyming. It adds an interesting element to the poem.
ReplyDeleteI really like the use of rhyming you included in your poetry. You used good sensory detail and I could visualize it
ReplyDeletenice ending and the rhyming is good. Also 1914???
ReplyDeleteI really liked the conbination of cryptic messages and the rhyming. It takes thinking to understand but that makes it much more interesting and meaningfull.
